they build walls higher, so I live without treetops,
they paint the windows black, so I live without sunshine,
they lock my cage, so I live without going anywhere,
they take each last tear I have, I live without tears,
they take my heart and rip it open, I live without heart,
they take my life and crush it, so I live without a future,
they say I am beastly and fiendish, so I have no friends,
they stop up each hope, so I have no passage out of hell,
they give me pain, so I live with pain,
they give me hate, so I live with my hate,
they have changed me, and I am not the same man,
they give me no shower, so I live with my smell,
they separate me from my brothers, so I live without brothers,
who understands me when I say this is beautiful?
who understands me when I say I have found other freedoms?

Keep Tryin' Tagalized - Hindi ako Sumusuko
Wala akong pakialam
'To'y nakikita mo sa mukha ko
Lagi nalang akong nagdarasal
Humihingi ng sobra
Di ako makontento agad kaya nga
Hindi ako sumusuko
Alas-dyes na komedya sa TV
Binabawi ang pagod sa trabaho
Di ko gusto na palaging nag-iisa
Mahalaga iyon, sa 'king paniniwala
Kumpara last year, ito'y lalo pang nakakapagod na
Ang parangal na nakuha ng humamon,
gusto ko 'yon
Wala akong pakialam
Kahit medyo nahuli ako ngayon ay
Gagawa ng makakaya
Pinaghahandaan yon
Di ba iyon ay parang tanga kaya nga
Hindi ako sumusuko
Ang totoo, 'ko'y labis ang gutom
Tinatago aking pag-alinlangan
Sa umaga, salamin ay nagpakita,
ng kahinaan ko
Gusto kong sirain yon
Wala akong pakialam
'To'y nakikita mo sa mukha ko
Lagi nalang akong nagdarasal
Magiliw yon, Magiliw yon,
Sing this in the tune of Hikari by Utada Hikaru
Liwanag (Hikari)
Ano man ang oras
Ako'y nag-iisa
Tadhana'y nilimot
Ano man ang oras
Tayo'y magsasama
Ano man ang oras
Dahil nasa king tabi
'sang hatinggabi
Maingay na (Pag kay lumingon)
Kalsada'y ti--nahak
At nagsuot (Ibigay ang lahat) ka
Ng maskarang tadhana
Sobrang iniisip mo ang bukas
Tumitigil pag walang katuturan
'Sang scenario
Tayo'y muli pang mag-usap
Gaano man tayo
Naniniwalang konti
Sa gan'to mang oras
Dahil nasa king tabi
'Sang hatinggabi
Tayo'y muli pang mag-usap
Tayo'y muli pang mag-usap

Your result for The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test...
Pure Nerd
61 % Nerd, 22% Geek, 35% Dork

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.
The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.
Congratulations!

Yesh. I'm a nerd. I guess it also shows in the dramas I watch nowadays...like Dragon Zakura, perhaps. And it's a drama on highschool students aiming for Todai (Tokyo University), so it's bound to be quite...nerdy:
In fairness it made me want to study some more...
On another (still nerdy) note, we tackled this
Ooookay, I'm stopping the nerdy talk now.

Don't get me wrong, the series is really good (it has Touma!), and Touma was doing a really really REALLY good job as Takemoto Yuuta. As in. It's not surprising that he won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Hachikuro *throws confetti*.
Buuuut....
The surprise for me though, is that I have a new ikemen to add to my roster:
Mayama-san! So geeky, but so dedicated. Hehehe...
Well...there. Don't have much time to watch other Jdoramas (and Touma is priority!) so I'll just catch up after holy week. Summer's soooo near....

Darn.
Our computer is to the point of dying, if not from viruses, from obsolete-ness. First of all, it has NO USB port. Only a floppy disk and the CD-RW lets us transfer files to other computers--which is needed because we have no printer. And since it's getting more and more difficult to find obsolete printers (that connect via serial port), we have to make do with either e-mailing our papers or burning them in CDs so that we could print it in the nearest internet cafe. It's capacity is just 4GB. O_O The only thing that saved it from extinction is the additional hard-drive of 26GB we installed, scavenged from our dead computer (which was given to us and could only survive with aircon). Even THAT capacity will not be enough to hold all our files for long--we have burned too many CDs to show that. Even the little things--the fact that we could not make new folders (we always have to copy empty folders to make new ones), we're still operating in Windows ME (because the computer can't take XP), and the fact that I know, come thesis, I will not be able to install SPSS in the damn computer (because minarkahan na ng software yung computer namin--sheeet). I've had it up to heeeere with the friggin' computer, buong college ko na siya pinagtiya-tiyagaan!!

Which is why I started buying kanina (there was a promo), only that my credit card did not approve of it. Kakainiiiiis. Peste. Ayaw din ng dad ko (who believes there's still hope for the computer).
Whatever.

![]() Confident, assertive, and dedicated - you know what you want in life and how to get it. Stubborn and opinionated, you can stand your ground... even if it's unpopular. And while you have strong views, you never overwhelm people with your opinions. A true charmer, you subtly influence people into seeing things your way.
